An exciting employment opportunity is now available for Drug and Alcohol Counselor/Primary Therapist at our Bridgeton, NJ campus. The purpose of this position is to assist/supervise patients and assist their families in the healing of the body, mind and spirit through coordination of exceptional addiction treatment. Twelve step principles of recovery will be modeled and utilized as the foundation of recovery. Position responsibilities will include evaluating and developing appropriate treatment plan and counseling needs for each assigned patient; providing individual, family and group counseling to patients; provide daily updates to patients’ chart utilizing electronic medical records documentation. Interested candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in a health related field, Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology or related field is preferred. CADC or LCADC or commitment to obtain within agreed upon time frame upon hire.
Must be able to work weekends and various shifts.
