Mom Dead of Overdose While Infant Found Cuddling Body

Authorities are investigating the death of a woman who was found dead of an apparent overdose in a hotel room as a 13-month-old infant cuddled next to the body.  Police said that they do not suspect foul play in the woman’s death in the Boston Hotel.
Area detectives, state police and emergency crews responded to the Super 8 hotel after receiving a call reporting an unresponsive woman in a hotel room.  Police reported that the infant was found cuddled up against the body crying. Another unidentified woman could be seen holding the infant in an ambulance at the scene. The infant was taken to a local hospital for evaluation following the incident.  This story is another example of how drug addiction is destroying families.  An overdose has taken the life of a mother, and the infant will never grow up to know her mom.
