Mexican Drug Group Detained with Women and Babies

Mexican marines recently detained a group of drug traffickers in Zacatecas which included heavy weapons, dealers, and women and infants. The group was caught in the town of La Estación, in the north part of Mexico. Of the 18 people among the traffickers, there were 12 underage boys in the group, along with one woman who was carrying an infant child. Along with a number of packets of marijuana and cocaine, the 18 were armed with 9 rifles, 2 pistols, and 2 grenade launchers.

The thing about drug usage is that it’s not a victimless crime like some people believe. This young child is going to grow up in a climate of violence and drugs, and is almost certainly going to grow up into a criminal or drug addict. If you have a drug problem, you’re supporting these kinds of societal ills. The good news is that with treatment, you can not only reclaim your own life, but also stop supporting these kinds of horrible drug cartels.

If you have a problem with alcohol or drug abuse or know someone who does, you should seek help now for yourself or your loved one. Thankfully, there is good help available. Detoxification and behavioral therapy have proven to be effective in treating drug dependence. Addicts are often unable to complete treatment on their own or with family members, so it’s very important to seek the right treatment center. At Seabrook, we customize our treatment plans to individual patient’s needs, so you know the help you’re getting is right for you or a loved one.
