Injecting a 13-Year-Old with Heroin

A 24-year-old man accused of injecting a 13-year-old with the heroin that caused him to overdose and die at a sleepover was sentenced to 14 years in state prison. He first injected himself and his younger stepbrother’s 13-year-old friend with heroin during a sleepover. Prosecutors said he did not call for help until eight hours after the teen began convulsing. It is a tragedy that not only did he actually administered a deadly dose of the heroin, but he let the boy suffer.

An overdose will change the lives of family members forever. Before you lose your loved one, you need to know that treatment works and Seabrook has programs for them. This policy applies to all patients, employees, volunteers, members, clients, and contractors. We are all diverse people. And celebrating our differences, as well as our common interests, helps unite and educate us.
