Carter Brother Successful in Rehab

A few short weeks ago the tragic story of Leslie Carter, brother of famous Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, dying from a combination of Olanzapine (used to treat the symptoms of schizophrenia or bipolar disorder), Cyclobenzaprine (a muscle relaxant) and Alprazolam (used to treat anxiety or panic disorders) shocked the Carter family. The cause of death won’t be official until the autopsy report in a few weeks, but it’s presumed given the evidence that she died from a dangerous overdose and mix of these drugs. Last July Carter even went into detail about his relationship with king of pop Michael Jackson, saying , “Yes, he gave me wine. I mean, I could have refused, but I was 15.’ As for drugs? He gave me cocaine. I felt weird about that and other stuff… We spoke afterwards, hours and hours, on the phone. I admired Michael, but his behavior bothered me a lot.” Carter has obviously been exposed to many bad influences growing up in a party culture industry, but after going through a successful stint in rehab last year, he appears to be on the road to recovery.
